If you, like thousands of other people in this world, are a part of the working middle class, who depends on a nine to five job to keep their larders filled and their homes warm, then you probably know what it is like to merely exist from day to day. You feel like you have no identity of your own, that you are just a tiny cog in the large machine that is the service sector. But have you ever stopped to consider what your life would be like if you could break away from the drudgery of your day to day existence (Yes, I will refer to it as existence because you, my friend, have forgotten how to live a long time ago)? Have you ever thought what life would be like if you didn’t HAVE to do everything you were doing? If you could, even sometimes, do what you WANTED to?
If not, then let me tell you that it isn’t your fault at all because we, as humans treasure any form of security, even if it sometimes destroys our lives and our very identities. We like the idea of knowing that we can keep our families fed and clothed in the manner they have been accustomed to if we just keep doing what we are doing on a regular basis and so, we plod on, unhappy, but bound to our work. But do you really have to do that?
